"Your house tells the story of who you are and is a collection of what you love."
About our house
The Collector’s House was built in 1870, located in the historic and cultural heart of Antwerp: the ‘Wolstraat’. Once home to English wool merchants in the 16th century, this street is now known for its art and design galeries.
Since 2017 The Collector’s House is managed by a young brother and sister duo. They're known as notoriously friendly hosts and have a few years experience in running a guest house and organise events.
They transformed the house into a unique event space and a cosy guest house. The entire house got renovated to live up to modern comfort standards, but the original architecture, nor the ornaments have been altered.
Entering the building on the ground floor, you will find the event space. This 90m² area sets the spirit of the house: a place breathing art and aesthetics, peaceful and beautiful.
The event space is suitable to host your events, exhibitions, workshops, photoshoots, private dinners and get-togethers.
The guest house is situated on the second floor and gives you a unique city view, looking out on the Cathedral tower. The rooms are more than comfortable for 4 to 5 guests. It has 2 master bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and a cosy living room with beautiful wooden floors and original garments, that gives the 19th century house its very special atmosphere. The guest house combines the luxury and comfort of a hotel with the warm domesticity of a guest house.
The guest house is also a perfect venue for photoshoots.
